Tigs is the young and talented singer of Chew Lips, a new trio from London, just recently discovered by the parisian label Kitsunè. Their debut single Solo is a perfect example of contemporary electro half between The Gossip and Metronomy. Tigs though, doesn't feel like beeing part of the new all feminin electro wave, instead she declares her devotion for poetry, Stevie Nicks and Vivienne Westwood.

Sonàr Festival is starting very soon. We'll fly to Barcelona on Friday and will do our best to keep you updated. MIX Festival, at its 23rd edition, is starting today. Known as the festival for gay and lesbian movies, it will feature a number of projections, debates, readings, events, concerts and dj sets. On Friday 5th, the crew of the festival will be part of the Pink is Punk night at Magazzini Generali (2nd level downstairs). Opening cocktail at 7 pm at Piccolo Teatro. After which, we will all watch the opening film at 9 pm: The Way I See Things (Brian Pera, USA 2008, 87’). Rodeo is proud to be media sponsor of this event.

MUV is the Music And Digital Arts Festival during which the digital arts, the electronic music and the audiovisual experimentation happily coexist. At its fifth edition, the event will take place in Florence on June 9th/14th in the beautiful location of the Sferisterio Tamburello in the Parco delle Cascine, Florence. Extremely up-to-date is the core theme, "the environmental sustainability": electronic experimenters, techno-visionaries, activists and designers try and think a sustainable future. Among musicians: Robert Hood, godfather of the techno scene in Detroit, the Chilean dj Dinky with the Venezuelan Argenis Brito, voice of Señor Coconut, the Detroit Grand Pubahs. Finally, the Canadian artist Deadbeat (pictured here) that will propose a live among tech-house and reggae featuring the voice of Paul St.Hilaire, one of the most important exponents of the Berliner dub scene. For the first time, Giuliano Fujiwara’s brand opens the designer's archive to the public, choosing Milano, as wished by mrs Kiyomi Fujiwara and the Maison’s designer Masataka Matsumura, for this special event. On June 5th, 6th and 7th, the flagship store, recently opened in Milano, will feature the first edition of Retrospective-Prospective, an exhibition which will tel the story of the brand since the Eighties, through original garments, pictures, ad layouts and sketches. The official opening will be on June 5th at 11 am, and the exhibition will be hosted in the future in Aoyama, Tokyo, at Fujiwara’s boutique.
